Individual "Couture et Confection" Bars:

In Noir:

Verbena - Brought by the Spanish to France in the 17th century, lemony verbena was considered a calming beverage.  A lemony herb with slightly minty and camphor overtones, it is also used as an aromatic for colognes. It makes for a soothing bar, experienced simultaneously on the tongue and in the olfactories.

Fleur de Sel - Accented with crunchy sea salt from Brittany to achieve the perfect balance of sweet and savory.

Vanille et Malt Croquants - The crunch of malted milk blended with the sweet, complex, almost earthy taste of vanilla.

Sablés Croquants - Crunchy butter cookies provide a thoroughly delectable eating bar.

Compote de Rhubarbe aux Fraises - The classic pie and crisp combination has found its way into our bar: sweet strawberry with slightly astringent rhubarb, with candied orange and a hint of zest.

Violette - A delicate, sweet flavor that is experienced in concert by the taste buds and the nose. Reminiscent of French violet pastilles, but made more sophisticated by its affiliation with dark chocolate.

Creme Brûlee - When creme brûlee is made well, it is one of the most perfect desserts imaginable: creamy and unctuous, with a bit of crunchy resistance to increase your ardor.  This bar contains the best of the burnt sugar and creamy texture that make its appeal universal.

Grand Marnier - If you've not tried it recently, Grand Marnier is a revelation.  It's the essence of orange: the bittersweet peel, the fruit and the intensity of even the pith. If you're conjuring the chocolate orange of your childhood, stop.  This is far more sophisticated and adult.

Café - For those who love mocha.

Rose et Feuilles de Menthe - The fragrant scent of rose mixed with the refreshing crunch of crystallized mint leaves.

Crepes Croquants - Maison Bouche is ceaseless in its search for crunch.  Not content to rest with just butter cookies, caramelized almonds or crispy rice, we have found the most French crunch of all:  the crepe.  Baked and crumbled into a fine, sweet, delicate wisp of a confection.

Lavande et Fleur de Sel - Renowned for its esoteric flavor, lavender gathered at the height of summer in the Alps is prized by the French. Combined with slightly crunchy fleur de sel, it's a very soignée bar.
